Review platforms
How to choose and order the platforms to which you direct your satisfied customers.
Catalog and custom platforms
Section titled “Catalog and custom platforms”Each Business has a catalog of predefined platforms (Google, Facebook, etc., with their native icons). You can also add a custom platform (title + uploaded icon). Platforms are activated per Business.
The catalog also includes two contact links: Phone (number in international format, e.g. +1 450 555 0199 - spaces, hyphens and parentheses accepted) and Email (a single address, not a URL). On public pages, these entries open a direct call or email for the End visitor (tel: / mailto: links); since these are not web links, they do not generate click statistics in analytics.
Scope: entire Business or a specific Location
Section titled “Scope: entire Business or a specific Location”By default, a platform applies to the entire Business (all its Locations). When the Business has multiple Locations, you can limit a platform to a specific Location (field “Scope” when adding or editing; a badge indicates this in the list). On the public pages of a Location, the limited platform replaces the global platform of the same type: for example, each address can have its own Google listing without creating a separate Business, while sharing the global Facebook. Limited custom platforms are added to the global ones. Google Reviews displayed on the dashboard remain those from the “main” listing (the global Google platform, or the first one configured).
Actions on each platform
Section titled “Actions on each platform”Each platform in the list offers two quick actions:
- Preview - opens the platform link in a new tab to verify the destination.
- Copy link - copies the URL (with a brief confirmation).
Auto-generated Google link
Section titled “Auto-generated Google link”If you connect your Google listing (see Analytics & reports), RepOtz generates the official Google Review link and adds it to your platforms. You search for your Business then confirm the correct listing - a card shows its photo, address, rating and phone number before connection, to avoid any confusion. This link replaces a manually entered Google link, so that displayed Reviews always match your Business.
“Connect my Google listing” sets up your entire configuration in one gesture. Depending on your situation:
- Empty Account (no Business, Location or platform): just like from the audit, RepOtz automatically creates the Business, the Location, the platforms found and a default Campaign (“Main Campaign”) with its QR codes, then takes you directly to the Campaign page with its QR codes - everything is already ready, nothing to recreate. During this brief processing, a wait screen keeps you informed of progress; do not close the page.
- Platform detection: beyond Google, RepOtz analyzes your website to find your social networks and review platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Yelp, TripAdvisor…) and adds them automatically.
- Contact links: your website, a Call button (direct call link to your number) and WhatsApp are also created: taken as-is if declared on your Google listing or website, otherwise automatically composed from your listing’s phone number. If this number is not on WhatsApp, simply disable or delete this platform.
- Generated description: a short, compelling Business description is automatically written from your listing; you can edit it afterwards.
- Account with at least one Business: the assistant first asks what you want to do.
- Start a new Business: creates a new complete Business (platforms, Location, Campaign and QR codes), as for an empty Account - within your plan limit. Ideal for quickly setting up multiple Businesses in succession.
- Update an existing Campaign: you choose the Business concerned; its Google listing is added or replaced by the one you just confirmed, without touching its Campaigns or QR codes. This option remains available even when your plan no longer allows creating a new Business.
In all cases, the assistant ends on the Campaign page for the Business in question, with its QR codes ready to download.
Display order
Section titled “Display order”- A new platform is added at the end of the list.
- You then reorder manually by drag and drop.
Featured on public pages
Section titled “Featured on public pages”On public pages, the platforms you feature by Campaign (see the QR codes and Campaigns guide) are displayed first; the others are grouped behind a “View all” button. If you feature none, all your platforms are displayed directly.
The public platforms page is indexable (local SEO for the Merchant) and exposes structured LocalBusiness data (JSON-LD): name, logo, address, geographic coordinates, Business phone/email and links to your review platforms (sameAs). Its content (platform names and links) is rendered server-side, so readable by search engines. Other pages in the funnel (form, simple, video testimonial) remain non-indexed.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Q. A platform I use is not in the catalog. A. Add a custom platform with its title and icon.
Q. In what order do my platforms appear? A. New ones arrive at the bottom; you adjust the order by drag and drop.
Q. Why are some platforms hidden behind “View all”? A. Because you have selected featured platforms on the Campaign: they are displayed first and the others go behind “View all”. With no selection, all your platforms are displayed directly.
