Free public tools & acquisition

Free tools accessible to everyone without an account, which invite you to create a RepOtz account.

Each tool has its own page:

  • QR code generator (/tools/free-qr-code-generator): multiple content types (link, free text, WiFi, contact, email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, location, event), color selection, advanced styling (module and eye shapes, eye color, gradients), logo in center (added by drag-and-drop or click on drop zone), live preview and PNG/SVG export.
  • QR code reader (/tools/qr-reader): decoding by image import or camera scan in the browser, with content type recognition and adapted actions (open, copy, call…).
  • Google review link (/tools/google-review): search your business and get the official Google review link, with a tip to retrieve your permanent link from your business profile. If the search is temporarily unavailable (external provider saturated), a message invites you to try again in a minute.
  • YouTube subscription link (/tools/free-youtube-subscription-link-generator): search your channel by name, or enter the handle (@channel) / channel ID.

Added to this is the free reputation audit. The homepage and each tool, audit included, use the same emerald title band with an icon, title and short description. Live anonymous usage statistics (totals, last 24h by tool, countries reached, recent activity) are displayed permanently on the homepage and on the four utility pages.

Unconnected usage is limited (anti-abuse), and tool pages invite you to create a free account to track scans and save your QR codes. To save a generated QR code and track its statistics, you must create an account: saved QR codes then join your “My QR codes” library (with their custom style preserved) and count towards the trackable QR limit of your plan. Once logged in, the QR generator permanently displays your usage against your plan limit (e.g. 2/10 trackable QR codes), the total of your created QR codes and their scans, as well as a direct link to detailed statistics (Dashboard > Analytics). The trackable link is created when downloading the QR code (not during input). If the entered URL is already one of your RepOtz short links (repotz.com/s/...), no new link is created: the QR corresponds to the existing link, a message indicates this and your quota is not consumed. A RepOtz short link belonging to another account is rejected (enter the original destination URL). From the “Tools QR codes” card in Analytics, you can delete a QR code: its short link then permanently stops working (including on already printed materials) and the space is freed up in your plan limit.

Q. Do I need an account to use the tools? A. No, they are free and accessible without an account. An account is necessary to save a QR code and track its statistics.

Q. Does the QR reader work on all browsers? A. Yes. It uses native decoding when the browser offers it (Chrome, Edge) and automatically switches to internal decoding otherwise (Safari, Firefox) - decoding always happens in your browser, the image is not sent.

Q. Can I scan a QR code with my camera? A. Yes, the reader offers camera scanning (preferably the rear camera on mobile). The stream stays in your browser; nothing is sent to our servers. You can also simply import an image.

Q. The YouTube channel search returns nothing, what should I do? A. Enter your channel handle (@yourchannel) or its ID directly; the link generator also works with manual entry.
